Field Trips Los Angeles
More to do
Grauman's Chinese Theatre
One of the most recognized landmarks in Los Angeles, Grauman's Chinese Theatre is visited by over 4 million people each year. Built in 1927, the theater is a tribute to the glitz of old Hollywood, preserved not only by the theater, but also by the famous "Forecourt of the Stars", where over 200 celebrities have had their foot- and handprints immortalized in the pavement.
Getty Center
Dedicated to the visual arts and humanities, the Getty Center is one of the most fabulous museums in the world. The 142-acre campus that houses the center is an exhibit itself, with gardens, buildings, walkways and balconies that are artistically compelling. Inside the pavilions are distinguished collections of European paintings, drawings, sculpture, illuminated medieval manuscripts, decorative arts and European and American photographs.
L.A. County Museum of Art
Los Angeles' premier art museum, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's permanent collection features Impressionist paintings from Paul Cezanne and Claude Monet as well as works from artists such as Wassily Kandinsky and Piet Mondrian.
